About brand
In 1923, Henry I. Siegel founded the Honesdale Manufacturing Co. in New York City to produce clothing for plantation workers in the U.S. state of Tennessee. His son Jesse, with a good dose of pioneering spirit, turned work jeans into a modern garment. In honour of his father, he created the HIS brand from his initials in 1956.
Europe was introduced to H.I.S jeans in 1973, when a subsidiary of the American company was established in Germany. This was followed by the creation of the eyewear division, which has been successfully producing H.I.S. sunglasses for several years. In the H.I.S collection you can find the right eyewear for your style, at an affordable price and in a quality design.
