MEXX was founded in 1986 in Amsterdam by a visionary named Ratan Chadha. In 1986, Rattan Chadha took his two brands – the men’s brand Moustache or Moustache (M) and the women’s brand Emanuelle (E). He merged the two brands to create one new one. He sealed the whole process with two kisses (XX). This is how the MEXX brand was born.

Since 1989, the company has expanded its product range to include the MEXX eyewear brand. Frames are designed to be for every day, for people who live life to the fullest and prefer reality to perfection. MEXX creates eyewear that finds its way into your life. Frames that once you discover them you will wear them, love them and they will be a part of your life whatever the occasion.
