TOP OPTA 2024

After winning last year’s TOP OPTA competition with the pocket-sized camera magnifier Saglook 3.5, we decided to participate again. This time, we competed with the reading device OrCam Read in the category of optical technology.

OrCam Read is an intuitive handheld device designed to enable independent, easy, and enjoyable reading for people with low vision and visual impairments. It assists those struggling with reading due to vision loss, age-related difficulties, mild to moderate visual impairment, or reading fatigue. All entries were evaluated by a judging committee composed of experts, including representatives from higher education institutions specializing in optics, optometry, and ophthalmology. Despite strong competition, we secured first place once again this year, proudly taking home another symbol of this prestigious award—the familiar glass trophy.

We are immensely grateful for this recognition and proud to be distributors of a device that simplifies daily tasks for those who need it.
